Nestled on top of the Cumberland Plateau near McMinnville and Manchester, Tennessee is a historic property known as Beersheba Springs Assembly. The property is known for its pre-civil war buildings, scenic view of the Collins River Valley, and wonderful mountain climate. Accommodations:
- Turner Family Lodge offers 24 rooms with private baths, clean linens, and a cozy lobby space with fireplace and deck. The lodge is divided into two sides of twelve rooms each with its own lobby, deck, and kitchen.
- Eastside offers 22 comfortable modern hotel rooms with private baths, linens, and two complete conference rooms that can accommodate 40 persons each. The Banks conference room can also be divided into two smaller rooms if needed.
- Smith Row offers eight modern hotel rooms with private bath, linens, and a shady porch for relaxation. These rooms do not have A/C but do have ceiling fans and two doors for cross ventilation.
- The Lower Hotel hosts six modern rooms including the Bishop Morris and Bishop Short rooms. Two of these rooms can be opened into other rooms to form a suite if needed.
- Brick Row contains three upscale guest rooms reserved for group leadership and clergy families on renewal leave. They have access to a kitchen for extended stays and a wonderful private back porch for relaxation. In addition, a nursery and two cabinet style conference rooms are available.
- Vintage Rooms are found in the Upper Hotel, Log Row, Lower Neal and Marvell. These rooms provide no linens and a community bath for those who choose these economical accommodations.
Other Facilities:
- The Sam Smith Building is a multipurpose building that can house large group meetings or spirited indoor sports.
- The Hotel Lobby is a great place for groups to gather and enjoy the historic nature of the property.
- The Dining Room is a historic space that can host up to 200 persons for meals.
- The (NEW) Gill Welcome Center is being remodeled early in 2010. It will include the Conference Office of Camp and Retreat Ministries, the Beersheba Offices, a welcome center and lounge with coffee and snack shop, and an expanded gift store.
Sacred Space: (While we consider all space at Beersheba sacred, these two are most special)
- The Beersheba Chapel offers worship space for groups of up to 150 persons.
- Vesper Point is an outdoor chapel with a view of the Collins River Valley that reminds one of the greatness of God.
